Weekly Rides in our area. None of these rides are official Habersham Bicycles rides. This page only serves as a location for information and not as an indication of services provided by Habersham Bicycles. No event listed here is sponsored, officiated, or the responsibility of Habersham Bicycles.

Highlighted green rides take place at different times of year than the current season. You can read all about them here, but please be aware they are not in season.

We post ride updates to our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/habershambicycles which you should follow. If you follow the page you can choose to receive the feed through your facebook account.

Saturday Morning Options:

Alto Ride: 40 Mile Ride starts at 7:30 AM from BC Grant Baptist Church. This is a great ride. Come enjoy. More info contact Joe Elam We have a 50 degree limit on this ride. We don’t/won’t ride if the temp. at 7:30 AM is below 50 degrees.

Gainesville Ride: We are looking for a ride leader for this ride, as soon as this person is indentified we will restart this ride. 45 or 50 Mile Ride starts at 7:15 AM from Gainesville Store. This ride has a fair amount of hills and can be challenging due to distance and terrain. More info contact Joe Elam We have a 50 degree limit on this ride. We don’t/won’t ride if the temp. at 7:15 AM is below 50 degrees.

Lula Ride: 20 Mile Ride starts at 8:00-8:10 AM (depending on the arrival of the above groups) This is a great ride for a newer rider. The route is shorter in distance then the others and is well marked so no one gets lost. We follow the LAP Century 20 mile which is marked via a white cross and a yellow arrow. This ride also follows our 40 degree rule.

Tuesday Night options:

Habersham ride: The Trow-Down now begins from Habersham Central High School RTR @ 6:00 PM and is now offering multi options. A-Group route & B-Group route If you have any questions on the ride please contact Kim Cantrell at 706-768-0368 or kim.protruss@gmail.com

Clermont ride: Tuesday Night : This ride hase 5 Hot Segments with re-grouping after each. Ride starts with a warm up.  Its begins from park across the street from Concord Church and rolls at 6:00PM.

Toccoa Spinners Tuesday Night: RTR at 6:00PM at the corner of 123 and River Road in SC just across the River from Toccoa. Depending on group size, we run A and B. A is a chase pattern where the strongest riders take the longest pulls and the average is 20+. B is a relaxed pattern where drafting is encouraged but not mandatory and riders are more likely to wait on each other at stops/turns, average is 15.5+.

Thursday Options:

Thursday Morning Ride: This ride is a 1 hour effort. Ride time is 8:00 AM sharp from Dewberry Church on Clarks Bridge RD (directions in hyperlink) We have a 50 degree limit on this ride.
